But belief in them combined with an understanding of inviting them into our lives would be a disaster.

So,I think for the C.E. it was a fine line between educating people and having people understand them to the extent that they would then be fearful of dealing with them, rather than finding the occult fascinating and a big lure etc.Nick Redfernhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07199813303416083671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2263272204194822728.post-92232213630131800952010-09-22T14:40:37.011-07:002010-09-22T14:40:37.011-07:00Nick, I'm 15 chapters into your book and, as a...Nick, I'm 15 chapters into your book and, as always, you tell a fascinating story. I need to ask one question. At the start of the book, the Collins crew seem very interested in having their story told. Yet, later in the book, Manners explains that these entities need to be invited in before they
can manifest in our consensus reality. Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but it appears that they need our belief.
Now, having said that, I can't help wondering why the Collins crew seeks publicity since that seems to guarantee that a wider number of people will believe in these entities, thereby allowing them more opportunities to manifest.

It all seems somewhat self defeating.

Thanks for your time.just_another_dickhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13941911859386280397noreply@blogger.com
