The Gralien Report & Final Events

Micah Hanks has posted his review of Final Events to his Gralien Report website, which you can find right here.

And here's an extract from Micah's review: "Reader be warned: Redfern’s Final Events and the Secret Government Group on Demonic UFOs and the Afterlife is one book that will beckon from outside the boundaries of sanity, and perhaps well beyond the fringes of what you thought was right and good in this world."

Final Events: The Heiser Review

Michael Heiser reviews Final Events right here (and there's a lively debate going on in the Comments section of the review).

Pastor Baz on Final Events

Pastor Baz reviews Final Events and says, in part:

"Men in black, government and NHE’s working together, Faux organisms like the Golum of Hebrew mythology, projected thoughts of Armageddon into the minds of abductee’s and the ushering in of the antichrist by the very people who claim to want to save Christianity by force – it’s a disturbing read on many levels but utterly fascinating.

"Pure conspiracy theory or an uncovering of the facts as we may have never known it? You’ll never watch Close Encounters or ET the same way again as the idea of an ET being benevolent dissolves with each page you turn and a demonic reality driven by Satan becomes clear. Redfern’s book is highly accessible and rather than a regurgitation of others writings is a coal face collection of interviews and tales that weave together into macabre web.

"My suggestion – buy it, read it and post your own review."

Monsters of the Man-Made Type

Here's a book I received a review copy of in the mail yesterday: Man-Made Monsters by Dr. Bob Curran. I've only had chance to take a brief look at it so far, but it looks very good. I'll be reviewing it as soon as I've read it.

Interestingly, it features two entities that appear in the chapters on Roswell in my Final Events book - namely, the Golem and the Homunculus.

And in the meantime, here's what the publisher - New Page Books - has to say about Man-Made Monsters:

Life exists all around us, in forms that we can readily and easily identify. But what if there were, lurking in the shadows, other forms of life that are not so familiar, creatures created not by Nature, but by Man? We know their names—Frankenstein, the Golem, the homunculi of the ancient alchemists; they exist in our stories and myths.

But just what are these mysterious creatures, and do they have some basis in reality?

In his fascinating and wide-ranging new book, Dr. Bob Curran explores man-made monsters and the truth behind the myths. You’ll learn fascinating details about:

• The 19th-century scientist who tried to bring the dead back to life—the model for Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.

• The Man of Clay who lumbered through the streets of medieval Prague at the command of early rabbis.

• Tales of robots that may have existed in the ancient world and threatened Greek and Roman warriors.

• Cloning and the artificial creation of life, and what strange and mysterious areas they may be heading into.

Man-Made Monsters is essential reading for anyone who wants to explore artificial beings and peer into the dark recesses of the human mind...where they may indeed be hiding.

Dr. Bob Curran was born in a remote area of County Down, Northern Ireland. Since leaving school, he has travelled throughout the world, fascinated by the myths and stories he has found. He has written a number of books looking at culture and lore, including Vampires; Lost Lands, Forgotten Realms; Zombies; and Werewolves, all for New Page Books. He lives in Northern Ireland with his wife and family.

Illustrator Ian Daniels, who has illustrated book covers for science fiction luminaries Marion Zimmer Bradley, Orson Scott Card, and Poul Anderson, lends his unique artwork to another New Page title, as he has to all of the books written by Dr. Curran.

Coast to Coast: Archived

Last Sunday night, George Knapp interviewed me on Coast to Coast for 3-hours about my Final Events book. The whole show is now archived and can be listened to by clicking on this link. The link also supplies a summary of many of the areas that we covered during the course of the interview...

Future Quake:

I was recently interviewed extensively about Final Events on the popular Future Quake show. A lot of ground was covered, including the worlds of Jack Parsons and Aleister Crowley; the Contactee movement; Roswell; and much more. You can listen to the show right here...

Final Events on Coast to Coast:

George Noory, at Coast to Coast, will be interviewing me about Final Events on the night of Sunday October 17 from 11PM to 2PM, Pacific Time.

A Final Events Lecture:

I'll be speaking on the subject of my Final Events book next Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the Mustang Recreation Center, Irving Texas. The lecture is being organized by Ken Cherry - of the group E.P.I.C. - Extraordinary Phenomena Investigations Council.

Ken came to our house last week to film a promo-piece about the gig, which you can find directly below.

And here's Ken himself to tell you more about the lecture:

Date: October 17, 2010
Meeting Time: 2:00 PM
When to Arrive: 1:45 Sign-in begins
Where: Mustang Park Recreation Center (Irving, Texas)
Meeting Dues: $8.00 (Includes free one-year membership) See details below *

Members & Guests: Nick Redfern will discuss his new book, FINAL EVENTS, which deals with the demonic aspect of UFO's/ET's. As many of us believe, there must be life throughout the universe.... by earthly standards, there must be "Good Aliens & Bad Aliens." (Another reason for the government not to make full disclosure?). This should be a fascinating discussion and Q & A.

There will be a limited number of autographed books available for $16.00 each. If, for some reason, you are unable to attend but would like an autographed book, please e-mail me to find out how to reserve a copy.

* For this meeting only, we are including a free one-year membership to EPIC (Extraordinary Phenomena Investigations Council) regularly $10.00. Membership will entitle you to discounts on future EPIC activities, so be sure to bring a friend. My son, Kevin, designed the membership card and it is a work of art that you will not mind having in your wallet.

We hope that within the next few weeks to have EPICVOYAGERS.COM up and running so that you can find meeting notices and the Blog written by Ken, Lynn Chilson and other contributors. We are also working on some other exciting developments hopefully to announce at our meeting with Nick.

We are honored that Nick Redfern has chosen our group to make his first presentation of his controversial new book, FINAL EVENTS. We look forward to an EPIC turnout.

See you there at the Irving Mustang Park Recreation Center October 17th at 2 PM.

Ken

Micah Hanks & Soul-Battles:

Over at The Gralien Report, good friend and fellow author and researcher Micah Hanks digs deep into the real of UFOs and demons in a new article titled Alien Contact in History: Battle for our Souls, or a Culture Clash?

In part, Micah says of Final Events:

"Redfern’s book tells the peculiar story of the Collins Elite, an organization with members in various branches of government (namely the CIA) who begun investigating UFOs and their potential link to the devilish dealings of Aleister Crowley and, perhaps more importantly, Jet Propulsion Lab co-founder Jack Parsons. The notion that UFOs and their alien occupants may actually be connected with dark, satanic rites is hardly new (as Redfern’s book illustrates), having been proposed in ufological circles by the likes of Daniel Boudillion, Greg Bishop and myself in my book Magic, Mysticism and the Molecule. But is there any credible link between the presumed activities of extraterrestrials and demonic forces?"

And here's where you will find the answer to that question, along with Micah's views on this specific matter, and much more in what is an excellent, thought-provoking post.
