Between the nights of December 26 and 28, 1980, a series of almost science-fiction-like events occurred in Rendlesham Forest, Suffolk, England, a densely-treed area adjacent to the joint Royal Air Force/U.S. Air Force military complex of Bentwaters-Woodbridge.
Essentially, what many believe took place over the course of several nights was nothing less than the landing of a craft – or multiple craft – from another world from which small, humanoid entities reportedly emerged. It was tracked on radar, deposited traces of radiation within the forest, avoided capture and made good its escape – and created a controversy that rages to this day.
One of those who tried to get to the bottom of the Rendlesham mystery was Ray Boeche, an Anglican priest and former Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) state-director. Boeche spent a great deal of time digging into the puzzle, in the 1980s, and even approached the office of the Honorable James J. Exon, United States Senate, in an effort to uncover the cloak of secrecy surrounding the affair.
It was largely and unfortunately to no avail, however, and Rendlesham continues to remain the enigma today that it was 30 years ago this very week. Although not to everyone, it seems. And specifically not to two whistle-blower sources from the Department of Defense that Boeche had the opportunity to speak with in late 1991, and who brought up with Boeche the allegedly real nature of the Rendlesham affair.
When I interviewed Boeche about this in 2007, he told me with respect to his DoD informants: “I found it interesting that they would mention Rendlesham at the meeting. They said there was a sense that this was maybe, in some sense, staged. Or that some of the senior people there were more concerned with the reaction of the men – how they responded to the situation, rather than what was actually going on. That this was some sort of psychotronic device, a hologram, to see what sort of havoc they can wreak with people. But even if it was a type of hologram, they said it could interact with the environment. The tree marks and the pod marks at the landing site were indications of that. But how can you have a projected thing like a hologram that also has material, physical capabilities? They wouldn’t elaborate on this.”
Even though Boeche considers, today, that the data related to him may have contained more than a liberal degree of disinformation, it’s a fascinating aspect of a case that – like Roswell – just refuses to go away; as is clearly evidenced by the fact that we're still discussing the case in the week of its 30th anniversary!
And for those who may be interested in learning more about this intriguing “hologram” aspect of the Rendlesham event, you can do so within the pages of my Final Events book.

Paratopia & Final Events
Last week I recorded a new show - on Final Events for Paratopia. The Paratopia guys had me on the show when the book was first published; however, this is more of an update and a general discussion of the theories and beliefs that dominate the book - namely, that the UFO phenomenon may have demonic origins. Here's the link to the show.
The Truth Event: Feb 26
The Truth Event is a one-day conference I'll be speaking at - on Final Events - on Saturday February 26. The location is Fort Wordens Commons, 200 Battery Way, Port Townsend, WA 98368.
Also speaking will be MUFON's Washington State Director James Clarkson, the UFO Reporting Center's Peter Davenport, and...a mystery guest!
This looks to be a cool event and you can find out more at (A) the Truth Event site; and (B) the Ticketing site for the gig.
You can also contact the organizer, Charlie Arthur, at 360 531 3357, or via email at truthevent@gmail.com

The Gralien Report & Final Events
Micah Hanks has posted his review of Final Events to his Gralien Report website, which you can find right here.
And here's an extract from Micah's review: "Reader be warned: Redfern’s Final Events and the Secret Government Group on Demonic UFOs and the Afterlife is one book that will beckon from outside the boundaries of sanity, and perhaps well beyond the fringes of what you thought was right and good in this world."

Pastor Baz on Final Events
Pastor Baz reviews Final Events and says, in part:
"Men in black, government and NHE’s working together, Faux organisms like the Golum of Hebrew mythology, projected thoughts of Armageddon into the minds of abductee’s and the ushering in of the antichrist by the very people who claim to want to save Christianity by force – it’s a disturbing read on many levels but utterly fascinating.
"Pure conspiracy theory or an uncovering of the facts as we may have never known it? You’ll never watch Close Encounters or ET the same way again as the idea of an ET being benevolent dissolves with each page you turn and a demonic reality driven by Satan becomes clear. Redfern’s book is highly accessible and rather than a regurgitation of others writings is a coal face collection of interviews and tales that weave together into macabre web.
"My suggestion – buy it, read it and post your own review."
And here's the link to the full review.

UFO Iconoclasts on Final Events
Over at The UFO Iconoclast(s), Rich Reynolds reviews Final Events...
View From The Bunker
You can find a new interview with me on Final Events at View from the Bunker (the interview is available as an MP3).
Monsters of the Man-Made Type
Here's a book I received a review copy of in the mail yesterday: Man-Made Monsters by Dr. Bob Curran. I've only had chance to take a brief look at it so far, but it looks very good. I'll be reviewing it as soon as I've read it.
Interestingly, it features two entities that appear in the chapters on Roswell in my Final Events book - namely, the Golem and the Homunculus.
And in the meantime, here's what the publisher - New Page Books - has to say about Man-Made Monsters:
Life exists all around us, in forms that we can readily and easily identify. But what if there were, lurking in the shadows, other forms of life that are not so familiar, creatures created not by Nature, but by Man? We know their names—Frankenstein, the Golem, the homunculi of the ancient alchemists; they exist in our stories and myths.
But just what are these mysterious creatures, and do they have some basis in reality?
In his fascinating and wide-ranging new book, Dr. Bob Curran explores man-made monsters and the truth behind the myths. You’ll learn fascinating details about:
• The 19th-century scientist who tried to bring the dead back to life—the model for Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
• The Man of Clay who lumbered through the streets of medieval Prague at the command of early rabbis.
• Tales of robots that may have existed in the ancient world and threatened Greek and Roman warriors.
• Cloning and the artificial creation of life, and what strange and mysterious areas they may be heading into.
Man-Made Monsters is essential reading for anyone who wants to explore artificial beings and peer into the dark recesses of the human mind...where they may indeed be hiding.
Dr. Bob Curran was born in a remote area of County Down, Northern Ireland. Since leaving school, he has travelled throughout the world, fascinated by the myths and stories he has found. He has written a number of books looking at culture and lore, including Vampires; Lost Lands, Forgotten Realms; Zombies; and Werewolves, all for New Page Books. He lives in Northern Ireland with his wife and family.
Illustrator Ian Daniels, who has illustrated book covers for science fiction luminaries Marion Zimmer Bradley, Orson Scott Card, and Poul Anderson, lends his unique artwork to another New Page title, as he has to all of the books written by Dr. Curran.

Micah Hanks & Soul-Battles:
Over at The Gralien Report, good friend and fellow author and researcher Micah Hanks digs deep into the real of UFOs and demons in a new article titled Alien Contact in History: Battle for our Souls, or a Culture Clash?
In part, Micah says of Final Events:
"Redfern’s book tells the peculiar story of the Collins Elite, an organization with members in various branches of government (namely the CIA) who begun investigating UFOs and their potential link to the devilish dealings of Aleister Crowley and, perhaps more importantly, Jet Propulsion Lab co-founder Jack Parsons. The notion that UFOs and their alien occupants may actually be connected with dark, satanic rites is hardly new (as Redfern’s book illustrates), having been proposed in ufological circles by the likes of Daniel Boudillion, Greg Bishop and myself in my book Magic, Mysticism and the Molecule. But is there any credible link between the presumed activities of extraterrestrials and demonic forces?"
And here's where you will find the answer to that question, along with Micah's views on this specific matter, and much more in what is an excellent, thought-provoking post.

Unholy Communion:
One of those who I interviewed for my Final Events book was Joe Jordan, an "alien abduction" researcher who works at the Kennedy Space Center. Readers of F.E. might be interested in the book that Joe has out with David Ruffino: Unholy Communion, and which covers some of the ground discussed in my interview with Joe.
Here's the publicity/product info on the book:
"They usually come at night. They may take one person, a couple or an entire family. They have no racial or social preference; they have abducted people from all walks of life to mysterious bright rooms where they conduct unusual procedures. The phenomenon has come to be called 'Alien Abduction' in pop-culture—where entities claiming to be from distant star systems whisk people away into bizarre and unwanted test beds.
"Now, for the first time, it is revealed through analytical duplication what for the past two decades a team known as the CE4 Research Group has discovered using guidelines for redundancy similar to methods employed by scientists and investigators to illustrate repeatability and thus “cause-and-effect.”
"Having documented more than 300 actual test cases, 'experiencers' (as they are called in abduction communities) have witnessed their abuse permanently stopped due to this research. In essence, they have been 'cured' of an unknown malady through what most in the public will find to be shocking, disturbing or a confirmation of faith—the power of Jesus name.
"Unholy Communion: The Alien Abduction Phenomenon, Where It Originates – And How It Stops is without precedent. This first ever, systematic approach provides compelling evidence through repeat verification that a connection between so-called alien-abduction, the supernatural and deliverance through Jesus Christ as savior exists.
"About the Author: David Ruffino has researched UFOs and abduction for over 45 years. HeÂ’s an alien abduction counselor, an ordained minister and has spoken in Roswell and on radio shows. Joe Jordan is a 16 year Field Investigator for the Mutual UFO Network, president of CE4 Research Group and co-founder of PAAPSI .org."

Nigel Kerner & Soul-Harvesting:
This just in from Danielle Silverman, who worked closely with Nigel Kerner's on his books The Song of the Greys and Grey Aliens and the Harvesting of Souls - two titles that delve into some of the issues covered in my Final Events publication. Indeed, Grey Aliens and the Harvesting of Souls covers very similar ground to Final Events, albeit not from a specifically occult/religious perspective.
Here's what Danielle has to say:
"Hi Nick,
"I have just finished reading Final Events which I found to be a very thoroughly researched and well written book.
"I notice that you distance yourself from the opinions of the Collins Elite and make it clear that you are simply reporting their story rather than endorsing their position. I think that is very wise of you. I have to say I find their whole set up smacks of fundamentalist Christianity and end times fanatics.
"Are these alien visitors a demonic deception created by occultists piercing a hole into the demonic world or are they the actual tangible result of a technology superior to ours? Are they Golems created by esoteric means or are they technologically created entities? I have to say the most probable for me is the technological scenario. As far as I can see even our own technology is not far from creating the kinds of artificial intelligence and bio-technology necessary to make something like the Greys.
"You may like to take a look at an article Nigel Kerner wrote in New Dawn magazine about this entitled: Visions of the Future – Sim Card Man.
"His view is that the dangers lie in the creation of artificial intelligence not in dabbling in the occult. As I’m sure you would have seen yourself the whole thing could so easily be the reverse of what the Collins Elite claim, i.e. the demons, goblins etc of the past could have been the Greys of today but reported as metaphysical creations because those who witnessed them had no references against which to describe the technological features of that which they saw. In other words our current technology would be seen as magic by the people of the past.
"If you recall, Nigel Kerner’s first book The Song Of The Greys posed the very interesting idea that we had something far more precious about us as natural living beings that would interest a super intelligent alien cartel just a little more than our ability to mine for precious metals (I refer of course to Sitchin’s astonishingly popular idea.)
"Nigel went on to delineate a fascinating concept, explaining that a ‘soul’ might be a derivational information field that comes out of a natural cadence that came into the Universe with the big bang. This field holds the power to maintain information in what he called a morphogenetic electro-spatial field with an eternal scope of existence in whatever form circumstance allows. The soul is thus an ancestrally contiguous and coherent mechanism for holding information. Nigel argued that if the Greys are an artificially created and manufactured roboidal form then they would find our facility for ‘soul’ an analogue of their own creators. This would be an analogue that they would want to try to combine with their own natures themselves. The ‘Greys’ he argued were synthetic biological programmed artificially intelligent machine entities sent out as super intelligent robots far more advanced than those we now ourselves send out to explore the Universe. They are however subject to wear and tear as indeed are all atomically derived entities through the second law of thermodynamics which drives them into greater and greater states of decay with time. A non-atomic property however, such as ‘soul’, is immune to the second law. Thus this property was their ultimate goal, their ‘holy grail’ so to speak. It was a property that they could never know or understand in its own terms as purely atomic artificial creations. Their only perception of it was the effect it has on atoms, the difference in other words between a naturally living entity and their artificial state.
"Ironically what these artificially intelligent entities are seeking is eternal survivability. The Greys and any physical life that they might reconstitute from the DNA codes they carry on behalf of their creators, cannot access the state beyond death. They have no ‘soul’ they cannot be born. They are trying to use us as a bridge into ‘soul’ writing their programmes into us through genetic engineering and implantation so that through us they can tap into an eternal existence. Paradoxically they are trying to achieve the impossible but as purely physical creations without a ‘soul’ they cannot know this.
"It is Nigel’s suggestion that the fastest highways to travel through the universe lie in what he calls the ‘fields of death’ which he identifies as the zero-point field in the space between atoms. Thus when we die we can reincarnate at other planetary locations. The vast distances involved in physical space travel and the speed of light beating technology that this involves with enormous G-forces are only survival by artificial roboidal bodies fortified by mercury and other heavy metals. Thus the Greys are also searching out our ability to transcend and conquer the limits of space and time when we die.
"I hope this is not too long winded Nick but after reading your book and the fascinating research you have done the alternative to fundamentalist Christianity was blazing in my mind and I wanted to share it with you. As you know Nigel does not feel that any religion corners the market on the truth and points to the wisdom of all the great religious teachers. He does however identify the Shroud of Turin and the processes involved in forming this unique and remarkable image as evidence of the power of soul that the Greys are seeking out in its ultimate form. Thus he suggests it was they who met Jesus in the desert and took him up to see ‘all the cities of the world’ – a viewpoint only possible from a space-ship!
"Nigel sends you his regards and wishes you all the best with Final Events. You present very interesting evidence on the alien pre-occupation with soul and he intends to recommend your book during a series of radio interviews that he will be giving over the next few weeks.
"Best wishes, Danielle."
Religious Deception:
Without doubt, the most controversial aspect of my new Final Events book is that which suggests certain elements of the U.S. administration may have contemplated using (and may still be contemplating using) a religious charade - possibly in the form of elaborate, aerial holograms - to influence the mindset and religious-based belief-systems of the U.S. populace.
This is made all the more interesting by the fact that last week I secured a copy of an April 14, 1950 RAND publication titled The Exploitation of Superstitions for Purposes of Psychological Warfare, written by Jean M. Hungerford, for the the U.S. Air Force. The 37-page document is an extremely interesting one and delves into some highly unusual areas - one of which may have a bearing upon Final Events.
Indeed, one particular aspect of the document states:
"Recently a series of religious 'miracles' has been reported from Czechoslovakian villages. In one instance the cross on the alter of a parish church was reported to have bowed right and left and finally, symbolically, to the West; the 'miracle' so impressed the Czechs that pilgrims began to converge on the village from miles around until Communist officials closed the church and turned the pilgrims away from approaching roads. In another instance, the Virgin Mary was said to have appeared in a vision and to have struck unconscious a local Communist. Finally, a report from Western Bohemia even stated that the Virgin Mary had been seen waving an American flag and followed by American tanks and troops."
The RAND report continues: "The number of broadcasts from Moscow and Czech radios which have appeared since the reported 'miracles' would indicate that the Communists were considerably annoyed at the interest they provoked. According to the Foreign Broadcast Information Services' daily reports of Soviet and Eastern European radio broadcasts, there were nine broadcasts concerning the 'miracles' between February 28 and March 19, seven from Czech transmitters and two from Moscow (including a review of a New Times article on the subject)."
On this particular matter, RAND added: "The 'miracle of the cross' has been denounced as 'an outrageous swindle' engineered by the parish priest 'with the aid of a steel wire, a coil spring, and rubber bands'; the fraud was inspired by the Vatican as part of its plot to undermine the new regime. It was explained to newspapermen at a press conference, and on March 10 all Czech motion picture houses were instructed to show a newsreel of it. A Prague Sunday newspaper featured a story with pictures to show how the trick was performed."
And, in closing, noted Jean M. Hungerford: "As for the report of the Virgin Mary's appearance waving the American flag, a Prague broadcast to Europe says: 'It is obvious at first sight that this apparition bears the mark made in the United States. These despicable machinations only help to unmask the high clergy as executors of the plans of the imperialist warmongers communicated to them by the Vatican through its agents.'"
Are we seeing here a very early incarnation of a Collins Elite-type program to try and influence whole swathes of people with faked religious-themed motifs? Stay tuned, as there is more to come on this...

Final Events at Fringeology:
Over at the RRR Group's Fringeology blog, you can find a new post from Tony Bragalia titled Aliens and Conservatives: The Right Wing Versus ET. In the post, Bragalia references my Final Events book and begins thus:
"The recent and frightening re-emergence of the hard religious right as a political faction will have an impact on all of us. Whether or not such "Jesus-driven" candidates as Sarah Palin, Mike Huckabee, Christine O'Donnell and Jan Brewer actually win elections to "govern by God," their fanatically held political and social beliefs will have repercussions for all of us who promote the study of things ET."
He continues:
"The words and actions of this frightening faction show that they oppose the Alien. They would never want extraterrestrial contact as they reject so many things that are 'different' from them. They have repeatedly demonstrated their difficulty with inclusion of those who are not the same. And nothing could be more "different" that ET. Their near-racist opposition to Muslims and immigrants demonstrates their likely fear and loathing of extraterrestrial Visitors. As both history and current events reveal, extreme evangelical Christians even believe that ET are 'demons.'"
And here's Bragalia's post in full.

Golem + Homunculus = Roswell Bodies:
Final Events, Guy Malone Comments:
Guy Malone (pictured here) - of Alien Resistance - was one of the people I interviewed for my Final Events book, and who provides this write-up/summary of the book at his website.
While I was working on the book, Guy provided a great deal of valuable insight on the whole Demonic-UFO issue. He memorably told me:
“Research shows that aliens routinely promise deliverance from the disasters foretold in the End-Times in a variety of ways – including but not limited to cloning, reincarnation, or by lifting those who follow the aliens off the planet just in the nick of time. It’s a wide enough variety, in fact, that you yourself would not trust the aliens if you study the larger picture of how many different methods they promise this alleged deliverance."
Final Events, Now Available:
My latest release, FINAL EVENTS and the Secret Government Group on Demonic UFOs and the Afterlife, is now available.
For decades, stories of alien abductions, UFO encounters, Flying Saucer sightings, and Area 51 have led millions of people to believe that extraterrestrials are secretly amongst us. But what if those same millions of people are all wrong? What if the UFO phenomenon has much darker, and far more ominous, origins than the realm of outer-space?
For four years, I have been carefully and quietly investigating the strange and terrifying world of a secret group buried deep within the U.S. Government known as the Collins Elite.
It is the belief of the group that far from being extraterrestrial in origin, our purported alien visitors are, in reality, deceptive demons and fallen-angels; the minions of Satan, who are paving the way for Armageddon, Judgment Day, and the reaping and enslavement of our very souls.
Highlights of FINAL EVENTS include:
• A study of secret government files on occultists Aleister Crowley and Jack Parsons, and their links to the UFO mystery.
• Revelations concerning the demonic link to the famous “UFO crash” at Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 - links that, the Collins Elite believe, suggest the Roswell event was a staged, Trojan Horse-style deception.
• An examination of the Collins Elite's conclusions that there is a satanic agenda behind alien abductions.
• The disclosure of Government investigations into life-after-death and out-of-body experiences.
FINAL EVENTS reveals the stark and horrific conclusions about UFOs from Hell that certain people in the Government don’t want you to know about.
